With Jim Tressel gone from Ohio State, what will become of the Big Ten powerhouse? This scandal that has come over the university may spark a major investigation of other universities: How many other teams or head coaches are participating in similar activities?
Jim's major downfall was his blatant lies to the NCAA. He may have been able to simply face a suspension had he not lied to the NCAA Commission. His delusional thoughts that he could keep hiding the ticking time bomb was exactly that...delusional. Sadly, this scandal will probably forever taint his legacy at Ohio State. Terrelle Pryor (Ohio State Quarterback), also part of the scandal, is being investigated as well, for the numerous NCAA infractions he committed. Will Ohio State make a comeback? Are other colleges and universities going to be under heavy scrutiny?
Jim Tressel is in hot water. He has ruined his reputation. So sad.
