Will Google's social network overthrow facebook?

Google + (still in beta), the brand new social network site, is gaining momentum fast. Though limited to "invitation only", it already has upwards of 15 million users. Google fans around the globe are salivating at the thought of a Google powered social network. With Google's power and money, they could prove to be a worthy opponent for Facebook. It could also spoil Facebook's plan to go public next summer, with one of the biggest IPO's (projected at $100Billion). Google + could potentially steal millions of users from Facebook, just as Facebook did from MySpace. Though Google + has yet to prove itself, Google can "do no wrong" or so it seems. If Google succeeds with this project, it could give their stock  even more momentum than it already has, possibly pushing it over it's all time high. For all those interested, there is no projected release date for the new social network site, but don't worry- when it's released there will be plenty of publicity.
