Oil Gowing Up Once Again

Crude oil futures has gone up again. This means gasoline prices are going back up as well. The trickling affect the oil has on all goods is painful to the American consumers' pocket book. With more people foreclosing on their homes and unemployment still staggering, the general consumers cannot keep getting pounded with the high gas prices. Though some are switching to electric cars or hybrids, the average person cannot afford the ticket price on a car such as the Chevy Volt ($32,000 starting price). And for that price you have to roll your windows down manually, power windows cost more. Bottom line is that the oil problem needs to be fixed. The idea that we are still getting our oil from the likes of unstable countries like Saudi Arabia, Iraq is baffling.
